Preparing for your visit

Make the most of your visit with these helpful tips: 
  • Allow time to explore: Plan at least two hours to fully enjoy the Park. 
  • Dress for the tropics: Wear comfortable clothing and bring sun protection such as hats, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
  • Stay hydrated: Bring a reusable water bottle—refill stations are available throughout the park.
  • Capture the moment: Don’t forget your camera or smartphone to capture the natural beauty and wonder of your experience. 
  • Rest and relax: Benches and seating areas are thoughtfully placed throughout the park for your comfort. 
  • Food & guidelines: Snacks are available at the Visitor Centre, or you’re welcome to bring your own. Please note that feeding wildlife is not permitted.

  • Guided Tours  (Monday through Friday at 11:00am)

Local Rates 

A valid local ID is required to redeem local rates. 

Closures 

The Botanic Park is closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day. We close at noon on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.  Please follow our social media platforms for updates on any additional scheduled closures.
